Rob Sargent is
the Senior Energy Policy Analyst for Environment New Mexico. He oversees policy
and strategy development for Environment New Mexico’s energy focused campaigns.
Previously, he served as the Energy and Legislative Program Director for
MASSPIRG. Mr. Sargent is a 1982 graduate of the University of Vermont and joined PIRG staff in 1984 as a
canvass director. He has also directed MASSPIRG's Toxics Program, and was the
founder and the original director of the Massachusetts Campaign to Cleanup
Hazardous Waste, now known as the Toxics Action
Center.
