Hands Across the Sand


We're helping to coordinate gatherings of hundreds of thousands of Americans, standing together to permanently protect our shores from offshore drilling on June 26.

All across the country, people will be joining together to show that we've seen enough: No more offshore drilling.

Here's how it works:

Step 1:

Go to Alameda Open Space at 11 a.m. for one hour, rain or shine.

Step 2:

Join hands at 11:30 a.m., forming lines in the sand against oil drilling in our coastal waters.

Step 3:

Leave only your footprints.
