Hold the Biggest Polluters Accountable


The EPA has proposed new rules that – for the first time ever – would require dirty coal plants to meet modern standards for global warming pollution.  Coal plants are America's largest single source of global warming pollution.  But the coal industry and big power companies are fighting the clean up.

We need your help to show that Americans support cutting pollution from dirty coal plants and moving to clean energy sources, like wind and solar power.

Global Warming 

Gov. Bill Richardson has set the goal of reducing global warming pollution to year 2000 levels by 2012. To help reach this goal, Environment New Mexico is advocating solutions like clean energy, clean vehicles, clean power plants and energy efficiency. Read more here.
