Tell the Gov: Aim High in the WCI

Right now, Governor Richardson and the governors of seven other western states are at the drawing table, designing a greenhouse gas cap and trade program, called the Western Climate Initiative (WCI). Other cap and trade programs, like the one designed to combat acid rain, have achieved remarkable results.

With so much at stake, we need to be sure that the WCI gets it right, by taking the steps necessary to bring meaningful reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.

Please email Governor Richardson and ask him to support a strong, science-based regional program to stop global warming.
