The Senate Judiciary Committee will be considering a bill as early as Wednesday that would amend the New Mexico constitution that would give unprecedented power to the New Mexico legislature to reject any rules or regulations adopted by state agencies that would protect public health, safety, welfare and our environment.

Please call Senator Richard Martinez and Senator Lidio Rainaldi at the capitol switchboard (986-4300) and tell them to oppose SJR 7.
