Environment New Mexico, in conjunction with the Public Interest Network, is organizing a free activist workshop at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque campus on Saturday, Nov. 14. Show up ready for action! We will spend the day moving between large group overviews and small groups to give you an opportunity to learn and internalize skills.

The skills we'll focus on are skills passionate activists need to know. Here's the agenda:

11:45 - 12:15 Small Groups: Planning a News Conference

The trainers will be experienced staff from Environment New Mexico and the Public Interest Network. It's a chance to meet some of the people behind the e-mail addresses. This event is open to the public, so feel free to spread the word to other activists!

The training will be held in one of the classrooms at the UNM Student Union. Please RSVP here if you are interested in attending.

After you RSVP, Naomi Roth, the training facilitator, will be in touch with directions and more details about the training. If you have any questions about this training, please contact Naomi at (617) 747-4410 or nroth@publicinterestnetwork.org.
