The Southwest Energy Alliance will be organizing a renewable energy fair in Las Cruces, New Mexico Thursday May 10 through Saturday May 12, 2007.
The event will include speakers, exhibits, food and live music and highlight such topics as clean cars, alternative fuels, clean energy and energy efficiency.
A speaker series will run Thursday May 10 through Saturday May 12 at the Southwest Environmental Center in downtown Las Cruces. On Thursday at 7 p.m., Environment New Mexico's Lauren Ketcham will give a presentation entitled, "Global Warming and New Mexico's Transportation Sector: Cleaner Cars are Ready to Roll." On Friday evening, Ben Luce from the New Mexico Coalition for Clean Affordable Energy will give a presentation entitled, "New Mexico's Clean Energy Policies and How to Take Advantages of the Incentives."
Outdoor exhibits will be featured on Saturday May 12 at the Main Street Plaza from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
