Environment New Mexico helps expand protections for 700 miles of rivers and streams.

The Water Quality Control Commission voted to protect 29 lakes, 700 miles of rivers and streams and 6,000 acres of wetlands after Environment New Mexico supporters submitted personal letters to the commission, which advocate Sanders Moore delivered in person during the public comment period.
